The CLEVA POD® system has been a 9-year innovation journey, born from a need to develop a more environmentally friendly alternative to the current polystyrene void forming pods, while maintaining the same parameters of the standard sized polystyrene pods, thus avoiding additional re-engineering requirements.

Directors

Andrew Minturn

Co-Founder/Director

Andrew has been involved in the building industry for over 20 years and has been advising the New Zealand Government for the past 15 years. Notable roles and achievements have included, developing the New Zealand Building Consent Authority Accreditation system, he was the Department of Building and Housing representative and Principal Advisor on the Auckland Transition Authority and Chief Advisor to the Crown Manager in Christchurch for the Canterbury rebuild and Chief Advisor to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE).

Andrew also has considerable experience as an International Advisor to the United Nations agencies of the World Bank and International Finance Corporation and International Aid & Development agency USAID. He is a regular conference presenter on the process of regulatory building control reform and has been delegated missions to assist countries of the Middle East, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Africa.

Grant Brown

Co-Founder/Director

Grant Brown has over 30 years’ experience in the building industry relating to foundation design and construction. Grant is the owner of Conqra NZ Limited, which specialises in Asbestos contamination identification and removal.

Grant is an innovator and has patented and successfully brought to the market several building related products such as:

  • EZI-YAKKA
  • Apache
  • Stunna

Grant has dedicated a large part of his professional career to assisting the education and training of his peers. Grant was recognised in 2015 for his dedication as was awarded a Life Membership of the Building Officials Institute of New Zealand where he is also the Auckland branch Convener of venues.

Ross Bellesis

Managing Director

Ross Bellesis is the Managing Director and owner of the Socobell group of companies.

Socobell has been in business for 50 years and has developed a reputation as Australia’s leading plastic injection moulding manufacturer.

Socobell provides the highest quality plastic injection moulding services to major industry sectors including Construction, Medical, Aerospace, OE Automotive, Telecommunications, Whitegoods, and Housewares.

Operating with a fleet of over 100 injection moulding machines ranging from 50 tonne to an impressive 5000 tonne, Socobell employs 120 staff across three plants in Melbourne and is one of the country’s largest moulding operations.
